The UK is terrorized by the BBC's horrid henchmen:

(Remember their threats about companies who dared to let employees (who already owned home TV licences) watch the World Cup?)

They'll doubtless try to scupper any developments which divert revenue from the UK's unfair & pointless TV licence.
