Most people in the UK would not have a problem understanding the pun of Froogle/frugal. However I can imagine that it would cause problems with people who use a localised version and smaller range of the full English vocabulary, such as in Google's own back yard market in the ex colonies over the Atlantic.

'Google Product Search' sounds a bit flat and not very dynamic which is a surprise coming from Google as they have always pushed boundaries. Is this a sign of maturity creeping in to the company? Is it time for a new upstart to crash in on Google's space as it did so successfully on the search front in the 90's?
