I don't see how this will be a viable revenue alternative to buying songs on line. what happens if marketing revenue slips, or if people simply ignore the advertisements? That's what I'd do. The internet is already overrun with advertisements. I've learned to tune them out, and I know that I'm not alone.

Another bonehead move from Universal, and more proof that the majors are simply out of touch with the new paradigm.
