Well said MusicFan.

This is just another of those statements to make us all feel warm because something is apparently being done to combat crime, whereas in reality it is virtually, logistically impossible to tackle the problem.

Unless the Police or e-bay are going to personally examine every single item before it is sold on e-bay it will be impossible to stamp out the sale of stolen goods, as criminals are simply going to churn e-bay accounts, making then diffucult to tract down.
