This week's OnHollywood conference discussed some interesting ideas for the future of "media," including "user generated content."

Some speakers claimed that the 18 to 39 year olds now use their mobiles rather than TVs or PC to access audio, video and the web.

However, asking such people today on the London tube, produced only blank looks - and that was from the few English speakers!

None had ever created any content. All listened only to music, never to audio books or podcasts.
