Your terminology is wrong. It should say "Search is Number Two *Internet* Activity", not "Web" activity.
The Pew Project Study says "the use of search engines is edging up on email as a primary internet activity on any given day."
"Internet" use is not the same as "Web" use, as it emcompasses many communication methods, of which the "web" (or www) is only one.
