Organizations (including social organizations) and companies (doing-business-as or corporate) must register their officers' names and contact addresses. Why shouldn't domain owners accept the same level of responsibility as organization and business managers? I'm willing to stand behind anything that I put on my domain. There's enough misinformation on the web without anonymous registration, which would only serve to make the web less credible than it already is.
