An eBay trader who collected over $160,000 for undelivered ceramic figurines is wanted by a US federal court in Michigan on counts of defrauding buyers.
The man, a Stewart C Richardson, hasn't been seen by his family since 17 January, reports today's WSJ Europe. He is now considered a fugitive.
Up to 74 alleged victims of the scam had contacted the FBI saying they received no goods in return for their money. The bureau issued an affidavit which led to the court taking out a warrant for Richardson's arrest.
