Star Trek web browser piloted by US ISP

It's the web Jim, but not as we know it...

US ISP EarthLink has signed a deal with Paramount to entice new users online with Star Trek themed web access.

They will offer a Star Trek themed web browser, Startrek.net email addresses and Star Trek wallpaper, sound effects and icons. They will also get free access to Paramount's paid-for Star Trek site, StarTrek.net.

Up to 740,000 unique users visit Paramount's Star Trek website. EarthLink currently has 4.8 million customers.
