
Online bookies hits paydirt...

British online bookmaker sportingbet.com has posted a profit and more than trebled its revenues.
For the nine months ended December 31, the company made a profit of £3.2m on revenues of £645m, three times the amount it brought in last year, according to Bloomberg.
The third quarter is traditionally the busiest for bookies. In this period the company took 1.5 million bets.
