The Wellbeing Network, a health and beauty TV channel and website set up by Boots and Granada, is to lose its TV side.
The move follows earlier job cuts and low viewing figures.
Granada paid £13m for a 40 per cent share of the joint venture and both companies have agreed to invest a further £18m each in Wellbeing this year.
Attention now turns to the Wellbeing web presence, which is likely to be the beneficiary of additional funds.
