Kiosk plans take flight for Lastminute

Book one flight while awaiting another...

Lastminute.com is expanding from clicks into bricks to give travelers in Heathrow and London's Oxford Street a chance to plan their moves.

The cheap ticket internet company is to set up retail kiosks in each of Heathrow's terminals to give travelers access to its e-tail services while waiting for their promised flights.

Brent Hoberman, Lastminute CEO and co-founder, said: "Heathrow is a large marketplace for car rental, accommodation and ticketing. Strategically located, the kiosks leverage digital technology to bring extra convenience to people on the move."

The company is to set up a fifth site in BhS' main shop in Oxford Street.
