WPP shares rise on third quarter success

Shares in ad agency WPP have risen by four per cent on news of third quarter results finding a strong revenue rise.

WPP's sales grew by 26 per cent to reach £679m, with growth strongest in the US.

This year's purchase by WPP of Young and Rubicon made it the world's largest advertising agency, owning three of the top eleven ad firms.
