The French language version of online auction site QXL has signed agreements with four French Internet portals and a radio station.
In a bid to expand its presence in Europe QXL.fr has joined forces with AOL France, Nomade, Club Internet and Wanadoo as well as NRT.fr radio station.
The company will use its agreement with Club Internet to heighten its presence among French Internet users. It will also build on its existing relationship with AOL France and partnerships with AOL UK and AOL Germany.
In a statement, Jim Rose, CEO at QXL, claimed the deals would allow QXL.fr to "reach a position of leadership in France".
