French online retail market on the move

Internet shopping guide, Kelkoo.com, has bought promodujour.com, a French equivalent of Lastminute.com.

Pierre Chappaz, CEO at Kelkoo, said the acquisition created the largest French online shopping portal.

Kelkoo.com went live at the beginning of February, only three months after the company launched. The details of the deal have not yet been made public.
