Millennium Dome goes flat with NEC

The New Millennium Experience Company has chosen electronics giant, NEC, to provide it with 300 screens for public presentations in the Dome's themed zones.

The 42-inch plasma display screens and 100 LCD projectors will be delivered by the autumn.

A spokeswoman for the Dome said: "The value of the deal is £1m, and we are still in discussion with other companies for additional display technologies."
