Starbucks, the chain of coffee stores with 31 branches in the UK, is rumoured to be setting up a Web portal and ecommerce venture.
According to Newsbytes.com reports, a Merrill Lynch report claims the company hopes to translate its real-world popularity into online loyalty.
The report's author, Merrill Lynch analyst, Scott Waltmann, claimed Starbucks is planning to launch an "affinity/destination portal" in June, according to Newsbytes.
