Netscape has released the latest beta version of its Communicator 4.5 Internet suite.
Called Preview Release 2 (PR2), the software enables users to select Netscape Navigator as their default Internet browser, and resets their home Web page to the Netcenter portal site.
According to a company statement, the suite is "Windows-friendly", and forms part of "an aggressive plan to bring Windows users home to Netscape".
