In brief: MTV streams music channel onto the Web

MTV plans to go live over the Internet from 3 August. PSINet will host the music channel M2, which will have 24 hour a day broadcasting and video interaction. M2 is currently only available in the US, but European users will be able to access the Web site and the channel will eventually be screened on digital TV.
