In brief: Asda targets home shoppers

Asda is to launch a dedicated home shopping service. Run from a warehouse and call centre in South London, it will target 450,000 customers in a six-mile radius. The supermarket will also launch a Web site selling cds, videos and books online - this will later be expanded to include all groceries.
