GlobeCast - a global communications provider - will be demonstrating public widescreen technology in association with the BBC's coverage of the World Cup.
Using transmissions on GlobeCast's satellite services and Integrated Receiver Decoders, the BBC will transmit directly to a number of locations in the UK.
Demonstrations will be held at The South of England Show, The Royal Highland Show and selected BBC buildings.
