Cirque du Soleil in $4m Orange tie up
Flexibility attractive, in every sense

Cirque du Soleil has signed a global networking and services deal with Orange Business Services, the France Telecom business unit that used to go by the name Equant.
The $4m, four-year deal will cover IP virtual private network (VPN) services that use MPLS, which allows for more flexible and often faster networking, as well as professional services.
Cirque du Soleil is based in Montreal but its operations are unusual in that they consist of a number of fixed venues around the world and six touring shows. The globe-trotting performance troupe will visit 125 cities over the course of the contract.
The contract builds on an existing relationship. The companies said each other's global footprints were a major consideration.
