CSC announced today it has signed up Denmark's largest telecoms company in a $70m IT outsourcing deal.

The deal will last for seven years and will see CSC providing managed desktop services to the communications provider TDC. TDC signed another $70m deal with the outsourcer two years ago, with CSC taking on TDC's business critical applications.

Under the terms of the deal, 122 TDC staff will move to CSC at the start of March.

Klaus Pedersen, CEO of TDC Services, said the company took the decision as part of continuous evaluation of its business areas.

CSC has also recently signed outsourcing deals with the US Army and US Department of Defense.
