Virgin Media might be making a lot of noise about revamping its customer service, but from my experience things aren't that different from the NTL days.

While the launch was taking place in central London yesterday, the Virgin vans were driving around South London without the flagship V+ box...because as the installers told us, they had to be recalled for still having the old logo.

Installers who didn't know what we'd ordered when they turned up at our house (don't they tell them before they leave the depots?), followed by five different customer service agents (only one of who was in any way helpful) who gave conflicting answers as to whether the product was even available in our area.
