Try Channel4's FourDocs Service:

The interesting free service on
www.channel4.com/fourdocs is streamed, but does demonstrates the challenge of sending high quality video over broadband.

With current codecs, it requires almost 900kbps consistent download capacity.

Many broadband connections fail to provide this, especially at busy times. Very few broadband connections could support such a service and also provide spare capacity for other uses or users in the home.

At present, IPTV looks practical only as an alternative protocol on cable networks.
