Thus has inked a £5m deal with the Audit Commission to supply the government agency with a next-generation network.
The agreement will see Thus provide the Commission with a wide area network (WAN), which will carry all of the organisation's voice and data traffic.
The WAN will connect up 500 sites across the country with implementation expected to be completed by April 2007. The rollout to the Commission's primary sites will start from this July.
The Audit Commission will also be able to use their next-generation network for video conferencing to aid teleworking.
