Tefal men stick with AT&T network

AT&T has won a two-year €2.6m extension to a contract for IP virtual private network services from Group SEB.

France-based SEB will draw on the carrier's managed services to provide connectivity for field force workers across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific.

SEB, whose brands include Calor, Krups, Moulinex, Rowenta and Tefal, said it wanted an adaptable networking provider.

AT&T's global network reaches over 130 cities worldwide and makes use of MPLS, a standard for IP VPNs that allows greater flexibility in their use.

Group SEB wants to use it, for example, to allow different classes of access according to which type of end user is logging on.
