Telco TTG Netherlands has won a €1m extension to its contract with Wolfson Contact Center in Belgium.

Wolfson will use ISDN to connect to TTG's network and DSL to link branches to its 270-seat hub using virtual private network (VPN) technology. The deal will also cover the development of the contact-centre specialist's PBX infrastructure for handling calls, via a TTG reseller. Wolfson now uses Avaya PBX equipment.

Aad Blok, general manager of Wolfson Contact Center, told silicon.com: "Cost was very important but it was also a decision on the quality level. What we have received up to now has been fine."

Wolfson serves customers in the financial sector, publishing and especially telecoms, counting Tele2 and Base, formerly KPN Orange, on its client roster.

The win is a significant win for TTG Netherlands, which is part of AIM-listed The Telecommunications Group Plc. The alternative telco concentrates on the UK and Benelux countries.
