
IT's not all doom and gloom...

Network equipment manufacturer 3Com has reported better than expected results for its fourth quarter.
The company's losses narrowed to $23.8m compared with $517m in the same period last year.
Revenues fell for the same period, from $468m to $339m.
Excluding special charges, the company reported a profit of $12.8m compared with a loss excluding charges of $206.3m in 2001.
