The boss of European telco Sonera was involved in a car accident on Saturday night.
Recently appointed CEO Harri Koponen was in a car with his wife, who was driving, and their four young children when the car went out of control and skidded across the opposite lane, ending up in a ditch. All the passengers escaped without serious injury.
However, the family's Chrysler car was not so lucky. Local police described it as looking like a "squashed-up sultana".
Following hospital check ups, Koponen is expected to return to work today.
