BT stamped on employees' graves

Do you dig graves? Yeah, they're alright...

BT's image may have been tarnished by its local loop feet dragging and fat cat bonuses, but to some the UK's favourite telco and its pipe-player logo inspires very different - almost heavenly - thoughts.

So much so that two ex-employees, not content with a life time in the pay of the telco, wished to take BT to the other side.

According to today's Daily Telegraph, BT has received requests from the families of these two former BT workers wanting to use the company's logo on their loved ones' gravestones.

The requests were confirmed by a spokesman for BT's design department who told the paper: "Obviously it's not something we'd promote or advertise but if a family feels strongly enough, it would be churlish to refuse.

"It was a one-off, if you can have two one-offs," he added.
