BT is set to do a deal with ITV and BskyB which will see everyone's favourite telco offer discounted subscriptions to the two companies' digital TV offerings.
The news comes on the day that ONdigital will be relaunched as ITV Digital.
BT thinks the move will enable it to compete against the bundled TV and telephone packages offered by the cable companies, this morning's FT reports, while ITV and BskyB believe it will entice more customers to their platforms.
The article suggests that BT will offer its customers access to ITV Digital's basic package of channels, plus ITV Sport and a range of pay-per-view football matches for £19.99 a month - a discount of £3 on the normal price.
ITV Digital has also made ITV Sport available to NTL.
