UK telco Cable & Wireless (C&W) has filed a lawsuit against MCI WorldCom.
It claims that US telco has failed to hand over former MCI Internet customers as it was required to do to gain regulatory approval for its $40bn merger with WorldCom.
MCI sold its Internet business last September to C&W for $1.75bn. The lawsuit, filed in US District Court in Deleware, seeks compensation for losing business as a result of MCI WorldCom violating the terms of agreement.
