Oftel sets out guidelines for disabled phone access

Oftel has released a set of guidelines for fixed line operators to make the use of telephones easier and cheaper for the disabled.

Suggestions include reducing the cost of using a text-based phone, providing bills and contracts by computer, braille or large print, and making telephone boxes more accessible for wheelchairs.
