Norweb has won a contract to provide telecoms services to GIB UK, an agency that administrates a public sector database of more than 250,000 records.
GIB provides contact details for public sector personnel from the National Health Service, central and local government.
GIB says a £15,000 Toshiba PABX system will automatically choose the lowest cost Norweb connection for outgoing calls. The company reckons that will save it £600 per month.
