Well Kurt, reality is a consensual hallucination and the consensus is against you.

The speed of technology development is pretty incredible. What has changed is that consumers are leading the way in cutting edge technology rather than military and corporates e.g. troops using their mobile phones when their Comms kit packs up, staff using their own laptops etc.

Gibson got so much right, the bits he got wrong are negligible.
