Orange offers embedded 3G Eee PC
Ditching the dongle...

Orange UK is to offer Asus Eee PCs with embedded 3G as part of its 'connected laptop' mobile broadband tariffs.
The mobile operator launched the offering back in July - with consumer and business laptop packages - but has decided to ditch dongles on the £25-per-month tariff to make it easier for customers to get online.
The bundled Eees are also being upgraded from Asus' 900 Eee PC to the 901 - in either pink or black - which comes with 16GB Flash memory. The tariff allowances remain the same: 3GB data and 100 texts from the laptop. The contract term is also unchanged at two years.
Data revenues are helping Orange grow ARPU (average revenue per user) - and they now represent more than a fifth of its network revenues, according to Orange's Q3 financial report.
