Mobile telly fan Nokia has signed an interoperability pact with rival phone maker Samsung.
The pair have agreed to work together on compatibility for DVB-H products - DVB-H is the flavour of mobile TV backed by Nokia.
Nokia and Samsung will work to promote the standard and are planning to have standards-based offerings ready from the middle of this year for operators aiming for trials or rollouts.
Nokia has already signed a deal with Motorola on DVB-H announcing they will be working together to promote the broadcast standard with a view to interoperability between all their relevant kit and services.
Analysts predict broadcast mobile TV will be watched by 210 million people by 2011.
