The Rokr - the first mobile phone to support iTunes - will soon be available in the UK, according to the phone's manufacturer Motorola.
The Rokr was showcased last week by Apple CEO Steve Jobs and was immediately available on the Cingular network. UK consumers, however, will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on the device, dubbed the iPhone.
According to a Motorola spokesman, Carphone Warehouse will be the first to offer the device - expected to make its appearance on shelves from "mid-September".
O2 will be the first operator selling the device, the spokesman said, with other providers including BT Mobile, Orange and Virgin Mobile through this month and next.
An O2 spokesman confirmed that O2 will be the first to get hold of the handset and will have it exclusively for a week before other providers start to offer it. The device will be available from free, depending on customer tariff.
