By John Oates
Published: Monday 15 March 1999
Swedish firm, Pipebeach is launching a service which allows users to have Web pages read out to them over a mobile phone.
A spokesman for the firm said: "The system takes any existing Web page and converts it to audio - you can interact with it in real time. It can extend the market for any Internet company."
Pipebeach will initially aim the technology at ISPs and mobile operators.
