Is a "femtocell" a thousand million millionth the size of a normal cell? That would make it far smaller than the molecules neded to make its hardware and so too small to be of any practical use.

Maybe they mean "a cell the size of a WiFi network", possibly a "centicell"

Prefixes like Nano, Pico and Femto were created for particular purposes and using them to make a new idea sound sexy diminishes their meaning. Why not a "TitmusCell" - that would be a sexy name.
