What about O2 to Vodafone or vice versa, when its not new year. My partner and I regularly text each other about certain situations and we have experienced a delay of between 5 hours to a day - so this isn't just a problem during the busiest periods but occurs throughout the year.
Though the volume isn't anywhere near the same, 5 days is a bit much...
