The case for a desk phone is diminished further by the limited use most users (at least in my experience!) make of advanced features on their corporate PABX. Most can barely transfer a call to a colleague, let alone set up an internal conference call, a follow-me transfer, or a ring back when free. And many organisations bar lesser mortals from using any stored number facility. Clever, huh? Not.
