Windows Mobile 6.5 does the rounds

While Microsoft's share of the mobile OS market may have waned of late, Windows Mobile continues to find its way onto shiny new hardware.

Pictured above is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 - the follow-up device to the mobile maker's first Windows Mobile phone, the X1.

The 3.2-inch touchscreen Xperia X2 runs the latest iteration of Microsoft's OS, Windows Mobile 6.5 - which Microsoft plans to market under the Windows Phone brand.
