What is it:
Touchscreen smartphone with Amoled display
We like:
Dazzling Amoled screen; high-resolution video recording; eight-megapixel camera; customisable home screen; meaty Symbian operating system; good-looking user interface
We don't like:
Sluggish when running multiple apps; no predictive text with Qwerty keyboard; installing apps not as easy as with other phones; no live data on home screen widgets
The judgement:
The best Symbian touchscreen phone out there makes the operating system a pleasure to tap. Add a gorgeous Amoled screen and high-quality video recording, along with generous memory, and the Samsung i8910 HD - formerly the Omnia HD - is an entertainment powerhouse. But there's no Samsung app store, and Symbian can be sluggish and confusing compared to the iPhone OS
