LG has launched the second device in its premium Black Label line
The phone, successor to the popular Chocolate, received its official European launch yesterday. The device will go under the brand name Shine and sports a brushed metal exterior with a mirrored LCD front that makes the screen invisible when not in use.
The Shine also comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, MP3 player and expandable memory.
The first Black Label device, the Chocolate, has sold more than six million devices worldwide and LG believes it could go on to sell 10 million this year. According to an LG spokesman, since the Shine has been launched in the company's home market of South Korea, it has sold double that of the Chocolate at the equivalent stage in its life.
LG also revealed more handsets are scheduled to join the Black Label series this year.
