D is for dotMobi
DotMobi is the company that handles registrations for dot-mobi, the recently launched top level domain for websites optimised for mobile-phone access.
Until now few mobile phones have been able to display traditional websites very effectively - so the idea is to offer sites developed to fit the format.

As many smart phones can already display standard website pages, there is debate about how much need there is for the specialised sites. But dotMobi expects there to be a big take-up in developing countries, where less advanced phones will remain the norm for some time yet.
A number of high-profile companies had signed up to use the domain name by the time registration was made open to the public in September. Around 13,000 companies had registered for dot-mobi sites for around $200 a throw, with domains already taken including BMW.mobi and Microsoft.mobi.
