Motorola has signed a deal with Walt Disney aimed at cornering the pre-teen market.

The first fruits of the joint venture will see Motorola launch cordless phones featuring Disney ringtones and also two-way radio sets branded with some of the studio's best-loved characters, such as Buzz Lightyear and Mickey Mouse.

The products will be out in the US and the UK in time for Christmas.
