Vodafone is set to order most of its camera phones from Japanese manufacturers.
According to Japan's third largest mobile operator J-Phone, its UK-based parent company Vodafone will be ordering the handsets equipped with cameras from various Japanese tech manufacturers.
All the deals should be completed in time for Vodafone's European camera phone launch later this year.
Both companies declined to name the size of the order or the companies involved. Analysts say the wireless photo service is set to boom over the next few years.
