Focuses on recent Treo deals

Handspring has recorded third quarter revenues of $59.7m, a decline of 52 per cent on the corresponding period a year ago and 15 per cent compared with its last quarter.
However, the handheld maker - which posted a net loss of $19.2m for Q3 - remains upbeat. In a statement CEO Donna Dubinsky focused on the deals Handspring has recently struck with mobile network operators around the world.
Twelve relationships are now in place to allow the Handspring Treo, a Palm OS-based organiser and smart phone, to be used as a wireless communications device.
There are distribution and certification agreements with mmO2, Orange Switzerland and France's SFR in Europe, as well as Cingular, Rogers AT&T, Sprint PCS and Voicestream in North America and several networks in Asia.
